High Mach is the twice-monthly employee newspaper at Arnold Engineering Development Center, Arnold Air Force Base, Tenn. Produced by AEDC support contractor ATA, it serves approximately 2,900 plus base population as well as retired base employees, local military retirees and aerospace organizations with an interest in or connection to AEDC.

2008 High Mach Publication deadlines
Format - Broadsheet, generally 20 pages, twice per month.
Style - High Mach abides by the guidelines of the Associated Press Stylebook and Libel Manual.
Production - Built using InDesign software on Macintosh computers.
Photography - Digital accepted at high resolution, preferred in TIFF format. Black and white or color conventional photography accepted. Prefer clear, bright action shots.

Name - Mach number is a speed measure. Mach one is the speed of sound. Mach two is two times the speed of sound. High Mach denotes high speed at the leading edge of aerospace technology, an implication of AEDC's mission.
